New Cordless CV12DA Multi Tool by HiKOKI powered with 12 Volt PEAK batteries features the shortest handle circumference in its class
One tool, many applications: HiKOKI adds the compact and versatile Multi Tool CV12DA to its line of 12 Volt PEAK power tools. The multifunctional oscillation tool is perfect for many kinds of manual operations, such as scraping, grinding, cutting, and sanding. Depending on the used accessories, it guarantees full flexibility whenever working with wood, metal, plaster, plastics, or tiles. The CV12DA is not only powerful – but the most compact among all comparable tools. It is only 275 millimeters long, weights 1,2 kilograms including a 12 Volt PEAK BSL 1225M lithium-ion battery and has the shortest handle circumference in its class, which is of only 147 millimeters.
Remarkably versatile
Professional users like electricians or carpenters, users in the garage or the DIY sector: with the CV12DA, they all hold a reliable Multi Tool in their hand that can do the job. Whether for plunge cuts in wood or plastic, flush cut of protruding screws or nails, shortening of doorframes: the available accessories offered by HiKOKI will provide the right fit to many application areas. Thanks to the broad compatibility of the OIS interface, the Multi Tool is compatible with the Starlock accessories and most other standards. Using the variable speed dial, the oscillation speed can be adjusted in six different grades.
Reliable companion
When sanding, the suction adapter that is available as an optional accessory ensures that the workplace remains clean. The integrated LED support light enables a good view for precise working even in dark areas and corners. Depending on their current task, users can adapt the oscillation frequency to up to 20,000 oscillations per minute. In combination with the oscillation angle of 3.2 degrees, the CV12DA Multi Tool works faster and more efficient than most comparable tools in its market segment.
An integrated monitoring system ensures maximum safety for user and tool: the restart protection prevents unintended operation while changing the battery. In case of overloading or an empty battery, the tool is automatically shut off to prevent damage, and the user is informed by the integrated LED light.
Small power packs
Powered by the new generation of compact and lightweight 12 Volt PEAK lithium-ion batteries, the CV12DA is perfectly balanced. Two batteries are currently available for the multi tool: the compact standard version with 2.5 ampere-hours or the more powerful version with 4.0 ampere-hours for the longer lasting jobs. Using the UC12SL charger, the standard version is fully charged in only 38 minutes.
The Cordless Multi Tool CV12DA by HiKOKI is available from October 2020. Standard accessories are two BSL 1225M batteries, a delta sanding plate with an assortment of sanding sheets as well as a plungecut- and segment saw blade each with a Starlock mount.
